About Me
I am currently a senior graphic design student at Marymount University. I am also a Black artist who primarily creates digital art, but, on rare occasions, I create traditional pieces as well! Growing up as a dark-skinned black person who loved cartoons, I didn’t see many people who looked like me represented in the media. So, as an artist, I feel it necessary to have a majority of my work portraying dark-skinned black women. When I make digital art in particular, I enjoy experimenting with varying colors and color palettes. I tend to focus on practicing character illustration and constantly strive to create out-of-the-box, imaginative, and memorable designs for my art. Additionally, I like making poster-like pieces, and in the future, I'd like to help make branding for different companies.
